Optimisation of an organisational structure and business processes for Mezhregionenergostroy LLC
Branan consultants assist MRES LLC in improving management mechanisms, optimizing company organisational structure and business processes. This project is aimed at improving the management system efficiency in conditions of dynamic development of the company.
Under the project Branan consultants:
- conducted a detailed analysis of existing company business processes, identified major non-optimality areas, including function redundancy, absence of people responsible for processes, non-optimal terms for execution of processes, etc.;
- elaborated recommendations on optimisation of business processes and described company business processes up to the department level within the key process “Activity on implementation of projects on constructing facilities of the large industrial power industry” and auxiliary processes “Company document control under project management”, “Knowledge management under project management”;
- performed work on dividing areas of responsibility and powers between managers both horizontally (between project managers and functional managers under implementation of project tasks) and vertically (between General Director, his deputies, functional managers and project managers),
- formed a target management structure, based on the project approach, including principles of the management system, control mechanisms and feedback, decision tree and dispute resolving procedure;
- elaborated a number of recommendations on changing the organisational structure taking into account the target management model, optimized business processes and specific nature of the team of key managers.
At the moment the target management system is being implemented, under which local regulations governing the activities of MRES LLC, organisational sessions are being held to clarify basic provisions of the target management structure to functional managers and company employees.
